Welcome to All Star Van Lines. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, website, and all transactions between you ("the customer") and All Star Van Lines, located in Miami and Naples, FL. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Please read carefully.
1. Services Provided
All Star Van Lines provides the following services:

Residential and commercial moving (local and long-distance)

Packing and unpacking

Loading and unloading
-
Piano, art, and specialty item moving

Trash removal
-
Short- and long-term storage solutions
All services are subject to availability and must be confirmed through written estimates, service agreements, or booking confirmations.
2. Quotes & Estimates
All quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. Final charges may vary depending on:

Actual item quantity or volume
-
Access conditions (stairs, elevators, long carries)
-
Additional time, labor, or services required
-
Fuel, tolls, and mileage for long-distance moves
-
Special handling needs (pianos, antiques, heavy items)
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking & Payment
To confirm a booking, we may require:

A signed estimate or service agreement
-
A deposit (amount will vary depending on service type)

Valid contact information
Payment Terms:

Final payment is due in full upon completion of services.

Accepted forms of payment include: credit/debit card, cash, or bank transfer.

Late or declined payments may result in storage of items at customer expense until payment is received.

We reserve the right to cancel or delay service if payment is not secured prior to the start of service.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. However, we require:

At least 72 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules to avoid a fee.

Cancellations within 72 hours of your move may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to your deposit or a flat rate (whichever is higher).
-
No-shows or last-minute cancellations on the day of service may be billed at 100% of the quoted rate.
Please notify us as soon as possible to avoid charges and allow us to assist with rescheduling.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:

Providing accurate inventory and service information
-
Ensuring accessibility to both origin and destination locations
-
Securing elevators, parking permits, and entry authorization where required
-
Proper labeling of boxes (fragile, room destination, etc.)
-
Valuables (jewelry, cash, documents) being removed or disclosed for special handling
-
Pets and children being kept safely away from moving areas
Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay service or result in additional charges.
6. Liability & Damage Policy
All Star Van Lines takes great care to protect your belongings. However, by agreeing to our services, you acknowledge and accept the following:

We are not liable for items packed by the customer, including concealed damage, shifting, or improper wrapping.

Fragile or high-value items must be declared and/or packed by our team for liability to apply.

Normal wear and tear, minor scratches, or cosmetic damage to used furniture may not be covered.
-
Electronics and appliances are moved without testing functionality unless specifically requested.
If damage occurs, you must notify our team on-site or in writing within 72 hours of your move. Claims filed after this period may not be accepted.
7. Insurance & Valuation
We offer basic valuation coverage as required by federal and state law (typically $0.60 per pound per item). This is not full insurance.
If you require full replacement value protection, please let us know in advance so we can provide available coverage options or refer you to a third-party insurer.
8. Storage Terms
For customers using our storage services:

Items are inventoried upon entry

Monthly storage fees are billed in advance

Late or missed payments may result in storage hold or additional fees

We reserve the right to dispose of items after 60 days of non-payment in accordance with local laws
-
No hazardous, perishable, or illegal items are allowed in storage
Stored items must be accessible only by All Star Van Lines personnel unless otherwise arranged.
9. Trash & Junk Removal
Our trash removal service does not include hazardous waste, including:

Paint, chemicals, batteries
-
Asbestos-containing materials
-
Biological or medical waste
We reserve the right to refuse pickup of any prohibited materials. Additional charges may apply if prohibited items are discovered after pickup.
10. Delays & Force Majeure
While we strive to meet all agreed-upon timelines, All Star Van Lines is not liable for delays caused by:

Traffic, weather, or road closures
-
Mechanical breakdowns or equipment failure
-
Customer changes to inventory or access
-
Building management delays or restrictions
-
Natural disasters or government actions
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate and minimize the impact of any such delays.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, All Star Van Lines shall not be liable for:

Loss of profits, business interruption, or indirect damages
-
Items of extraordinary value not declared in writing
-
Damage due to customer negligence or improper packing
-
Damage or loss outside of our physical possession or control
Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
12. Website Use & Content
By using our website, you agree not to:

Misuse, hack, or harm the functionality of our website

Copy or reproduce any content without permission
-
Submit false or misleading information
All content on this website is the property of All Star Van Lines and may not be used without written consent.
13. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues

If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be settled through arbitration or small claims court in the jurisdiction where the service originated

All claims must be filed within 6 months of the service date
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
